In 2019, the development cooperation programme of ISF benefitted some 62,000 people.
2019 was the second year of ISF’s 2018–2021 development cooperation programme.
The development cooperation programme has three objectives: Women and men are empowered to prevent violence against women, local economies are economically and ecologically sustainable and people and communities are empowered as instigators of global change.
In 2019, the programme was implemented mostly according to plans in all three programme countries: Kenya, Somaliland and Nicaragua.
The programme reached around 8,500 direct beneficiaries, of which over 59% were women.
In total, it benefitted some 62,000 people in the three programme countries.
